Chemical Peels for anyone

Skin and Body Center offers a wide verity of chemical peels to accommodate any type of skin types either you are super sensitive or have a more demanding complexion. We also offer you the option to purchase most of them in various packages to maximize the benefits of the treatments. We strongly suggest you combine your treatments with a strong medical grade skin care system to either pre-treat it before the peel as well as help it after the procedure for the maximum benefit. Some of the deeper peels will have a requirement of pre-treatment. That is done for your safety only and fro the bestoutcome of the procedure.

Vitalize Peel - $150
One of our favorite and most popular treatments. It is great for the pores, small lines and wrinkles, overall texture and vitality of your complexion. It takes about 5-6 days to completely recover from this peel, but results are well worth it. (Some requirements and restrictions do apply).

Radiance from OBAGI - $100
This chemical peel doesn't require any pre-treating and takes practically no time at all. You might experience slight dryness and mild flaking. It improves texture and the pore size. It helps with mild acne and fine lines. It feels very refreshing.

OBAGI Blue Peel- $500
Unlike glycolic acid or any other alpha hydroxy acids Obagi Blue Peel uses a slow-acting TCA (trichloroacetic acid) solution applied to the skin to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the production of new skin cells. Since TCA is not absorbed through the skin, there are no internal toxic effects. The slow action of the Obagi Blue Peel solution enables us to control the peel process and its depth. It tightens the skin, reduces wrinkling, and renews a more youthful appearance. (Please note that Personalized Consultation and pre-treatment are required for this procedure)

VI Peel - $350 ($450 with a booster)
This treatment is used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, chest, hands and other areas. As a medical grade chemical peel, the VI peel is an effective treatment to improve several skin conditions and issues including acne, uneven skin texture, uneven tone, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scaring, sagging skin, aging and sun spots, enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation. The VI peel also provides a more youthful look by brightening the overall appearance of the skin and improving collagen production.

Salicylic Acid Peel - $ 65
Salicylic Acid helps correct the abnormal skin renewal process that occurs in acne-prone skin. It works as an exfoliante, promoting the sloughing away of the dead skin cells. This acid is a popular acne treatment because it has the ability to penetrate pores to keep them clear. Salicylic acid helps break down dead skin cells to exfoliate skin, and it can remove dirt, debris, and dead skin cells from inside your pores. Salicylic acid can be applied topically in low concentrations to treat and prevent acne. Regular mild chemical peels with salicylic acid can also help prevent and treat acne.

Salicylic Acid for Anti-Aging
Dermatologists have recently discovered that salicylic acid is an effective chemical peeling agent, capable of reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid that can gently penetrate and exfoliate the upper layers of the skin's surface. Once these upper layers of skin have been removed, new skin can grow in their place. The new skin will be firmer and smoother, with fewer lines and wrinkles.

Salicylic Acid for Skin Lightening and Sun Damage
Salicylic acid has also been shown to be effective at lightening skin and reversing sun damage. Salicylic acid can be combined with hydroquinone in mild and medium-depth peels to lighten skin and treat hyperpigmentation problems like melasma or sun spots. Salicylic acid is well-tolerated by those with darker complexions.

Glycolic Acid Peel - AHA
Glycolic acid peel preparations are recommended for those whose skin is showing signs of aging. Fine lines, brown marks and dry spots (solar keratoses) can improve with regular applications or peels. Glycolic acid may also prove helpful for those prone to acne. We do recommend you purchase these treatments in packages for the optimum benefit. Please call us for the price.
